Order of work
- Enter Vale of Wrath and take the first Lantern you pass; it becomes your respawn point for the whole chapter.
- Push the story objective while sweeping the side routes as you pass them; quests here are usually started by picking up a note or a body.
- Before the boss, do one pass for the Ambers, flask upgrades and quest steps you have already walked past.
- Finish the boss, then check the chapter's return gates below before leaving the region.
Before you leave
- Seven unique Ambers touch this region — the best mid-game return trip.
- Quests whose later steps sit in this region will not move until you come back for them.
- Nothing here is permanently missable, but routes get longer once the Lantern network moves on.
